
University of Phoenix - NFPA Scholarship
Through a partnership between the University of Phoenix and the National Foster Parent Association,
five (5) full-tuition scholarships will be offered. Each scholarship will allow a prospective student the opportunity to complete an undergraduate or master's degree program at University of Phoenix. Recipients may choose to attend a University of Phoenix on-ground campus or may attend University of Phoenix online.
Applicants must be one of the following:
- A current foster youth, an alumnus of foster care or a foster parent who is a regular NFPA Member. *Foster youth must have graduated high school by June 30, 2013. Foster parents must be and remain liscensed by their state.
- Applicants must not be currently enrolled nor in the process of enrolling at University of Phoenix prior to the scholarship award date (5/23/2013).
- Applicants must meet all admissions requiremetns of University of Phoenix.
- Applicants must not be an employee or family member (spouse, dependent child or domestic partner) of an employee of Apollo Group, Inc., University of Phoenix, Western International University, Institute for Professional Development or any other subsidiary of Apollo Group, Inc. Must be a regular member of NFPA and provide NFPA number. If not a current member, please join NFPA.
The University of Phoenix Scholarship is offered on a competitive basis and membership in NFPA is not a guarantee of receiving the scholarship.
